Admission Steps

Cybersecurity and Programming is a two-year degree for those interested in working as an IT professional. Coursework is geared more towards cybersecurity and programming than ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø's Network Systems Technician AAS.

  1. Apply to ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø and become a Golden Eagle: Fill out the free online form to Apply to ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø, then watch your email for your acceptance letter and instructions to get set up as a new student. 

  2. Prepare for Registration: Make an appointment with an  to declare your major and get registration clearance.

  3. This program starts in the fall semester. Although there are a few classes students can take online, most of the coursework is in-person with a classroom setting. 

  4. Prior Certification: Students who have a current CompTIA A+ certification can purchase the credits for CISS 107-Computer Essentials and CISS 110 & Lab-Troubleshooting the PC.

  5. Keep Learning!: The Cybersecurity and Programming, Computer Support Technician, and Network Systems Technician programs all work together to promote and encourage students to be well-rounded IT professionals.
